Coordination Center for TLD RU (CC for TLD RU) is administrator of national top level domains .RU and .РФ (national registry). CC for TLD RU has mandate to develop terms and conditions for registration of domain names in ccTLDs .RU and .РФ, accreditation of registrars and development of prospective projects connected with evolution of Russian TLDs. CC for TLD RU’s principal task is to ensure resilient and stable functioning of a domain names registration system and DNS infrastructure of Russian segment of the global Internet.

Company “Hostmaster Ltd” was founded in 2001 by administrators of the top level domain .UA and public second-level domains of .UA exclusively for the administrative services and technical support of the .UA domain and its public domains. The domain .UA was delegated to Ukraine in accordance with the decision of IANA in 1992. Until 2001 . Today Hostmaster Ltd operates the system of name-servers of the domain .UA (which is located in several geographical points around the globe), supports and operates the automatic registration system for .UA and a number of public domains, and provides public WHOIS service with protected personal data of individuals. The company also provides its technical resources to the first level Azerbaijani domain – .AZ, as well as to CommunityDNS, which is used by many ccTLDs (geographic top-level domains).
