Bus

Tickets can be bought at the Minsk bus station ticket offices, at ticket booths located at the bus terminal “Tsentralnyi”, or online. If you depart from Minsk National Airport you can either buy tickets via the ticket booths situated at the airport terminal, at the bus stop, or from the ticket agent on the bus.

The bus stop is located in front of Gate 5-6 on the ground floor of the arrivals hall.
From here there are regular buses and shuttle buses between Minsk and Minsk National Airport.
Regular buses: 300Э (route to the bus terminal “Tsentralnyi”) and 173Э
Shuttle buses: 1400-TK and 1430-TK between Minsk and National Airport Minsk.
Journey time: about 1 hour

Taxis

Uber and Yandex taxis operate in Minsk and can be called using their international apps. Taxi drivers will contact foreign passengers using the Viber app, so it may be useful to have it installed. The airport’s own taxi service offers flat-rate trips. The cabs are situated in front of Gates 5-6.
The distance between Minsk National Airport and Minsk’s centre is 42 km.

Currency

Belarus’s currency is the ruble (BYN). The exchange rate, as of 4 July 2017, was EUR 1 = BYN 2.20.

ATMs

ATMs are available throughout the centre of Minsk. Try to stick to ATMs of either large foreign institutions or major Russian banks; e.g. Citibank, Sberbank, VTB 24 or Alfa Bank.

EU standard: 220V 50 Hz — round two-pin plugs, type C and F.
