ENOG 18 will take place as a virtual meeting from 7-8 June 2021. The meeting is open to all and it’s free of charge.
Please make sure you’ve read the “RIPE Meeting Virtual Terms & Conditions” before confirming your registration.
Important: The name that you use to register is the one that will appear on Meetecho, the conference platform used for ENOG 18.
Your Registration Page
Once you’ve registered for the meeting, you will receive a confirmation email containing your meeting registration number and the unique URL linking to your registration information page.
Your registration page allows you to:
- Manage Social Options: Enable/disable your social options which allow you to network with fellow attendees by sharing your contact details on the attendee list
- Check in: Mark yourself as present by clicking on the ‘check in’ button. You can find the ‘check in’ button on your registration page once the meeting starts. This allows other attendees to know that you are participating in ENOG 18. Checked-in attendees will have a green check mark next to their names on the attendee list. To remove your checked-in status, email enog [at] ripe [dot] net.
ENOG 18 Format
We are pleased to inform you that the ENOG 18 Meeting will use Meetecho as its conference platform and SpatialChat as its virtual networking space.
In addition to Meetecho, you will be able to watch the presentations live on the ENOG 18 website and/or on YouTube. Please note that in both cases, there will be no separate Internet Relay Chat channel or chat functionality. If you would like to participate in the discussions and ask questions, you will have to register for the meeting and join Meetecho.
This time, there will also be the option of attending the meeting in-person in a Remote Broadcast Hub, provided that local COVID -19 restrictions are followed. During the ENOG 18 registration process, you will be asked to select the Remote Hub of your choice. The RIPE NCC will then contact you with more information about your Remote Hub participation. Please note that space is limited and hub registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
